Recently when attempting to get the APC/MGE NSM v3 client to work against an NMC66074 Transverse card we found that you need to have port 5000 TCP open in your firewall settings for the NMC in order for communication to work. This is not documented and we had to WireShark the client end to discover this.
Meanwile the SSL implentation on the NMC 66074 still has bugs that render it all but unusable so HTTPS is not an option as documented.
